Kefalonia (Cephalonia) is the largest of the Ionian islands and is considered as the jewel of the Ionian. The island is generously endowed by nature, a place with rare geological phenomena, mysterious caves, therapeutic springs and subterranean water with superb beaches, traditional villages and rich archaeological finds.
Kefalonia lies opposite the west coast of the Peloponnese. To it's north-east is the island of Ithaka. The Kefalonian people are renowned for their friendly hospitality as can often be witnessed as you travel around the island.

Various sea sports, including water skiing, are offered just a few kilometers away on the beautiful beach of Anti-Samos, close to the port town of Sami.
